How to tell if you have a hernia
Discomfort or Pain directly at the site of the hernia (This will depend on how big the hole is and how much the contents of the hernia is been compressed at the neck).
Pain just around the lump (This may be due to compression on the nerves by the hernia lump).
Signs to watch for if you have a hernia
Nausea and vomiting can happen if the sac contains bowel and is trapped at the neck
If the lump does not reduce over time
